Anna Baxter Day 2018 IowaCatholicDaughters.org Posted on July 17, 2018 by Chris PeifferOctober 9, 2022 The event was held June 24th at St. Wenceslaus Church, Iowa City.It was a beautiful Sunday!Many enjoyed the walking Rosary.Following Mass, registration was held.State Regent, Jan Grundmeyer welcomed all.Event chairperson, Carole Olney, and the members of Ct. Craigie did a wonderful job of hosting.Fr. Lou Leonhardt, chaplain of Ct. Craigie lead the blessing.We were privileged to have many honored guests. Patron saint of the Iowa Catholic Daughters.1st Vice National Director Sherry Nilles spoke to the group.Circ;le of Love reports were given by several of the state chairpersons.A raffle was held for a beautiful stained glass cross made by the husband of 2nd Vice State Regent, Kaye Stock-Arndorfer.Education contest winners were announced and certificates distributed.A great day was had by all!We enjoyed a wonderful meal…We sang……we prayed.And hopefully, honored the memory of Anna Baxter by being living examples of our motto: Unity and Charity.
